Glasgow
Caledonian University is situated at the heart of Glasgow, the largest city in
Scotland, close to all major transport links. This means that no matter where
you are in the country, travelling to the University is very simple, whether
it's by plane, train or car.

The airport is situated eight miles to the west of the University. There
is an airport bus service to the city centre. The taxi fare is in the
region of £13-15. Glasgow International Airport has direct flight
connections
to London and

major European hubs, plus North America and the Middle East.

The airport is situated 22 miles south-west of the University. There is
a railway station at the airport and an airport bus service to the city
centre.

The airport is situated 46
miles East of Glasgow.
There is an
airport bus service to Edinburgh city centre and from there Glasgow is easily
acessible by train or by bus.

RAIL:
Intercity links to all major cities. Frequent services to Edinburgh (50
minutes) and London (5 hours). There are two city-centre terminals:
Queen Street (5 minutes’ walk from the University) and Central Station (10
minutes’ walk).

COACH:
Buchanan Bus Station is the main terminus for long distance coaches.
The University is
across the road from Buchanan Bus Station.

ROAD:
The
University is easily accessible from Junction 16 (Westbound) or Junctions 15
& 17 (Eastbound) of the M8 motorway. Although no parking is available on
campus, there is ample space is available at the nearby Concert Hall car
park and the Buchanan Galleries.

There are several bus routes operated by First Bus Group

which run through the main campus from the city centre.

UNDERGROUND:
The
University is close to both Buchanan Street and Cowcaddens stations.

University is situated within walking distance of both Queen Street Station
