Accompanying Persons ProgrammeAccompanying persons must be registered using the EuroSun 2006 Registration Form. We welcome accompanying persons to participate in a program of tours which have been especially co-ordinated for accompany persons of Eurosun2006 delegates. 27th June 2006- CITY SIGHTSEEING GLASGOW OPEN-TOP BUS TOUR The city sightseeing Glasgow day tickets provides a ‘hop on hop off’ tour of Glasgow’s main attractions including the Cathedral, Museums, Art Galleries and a variety of shopping centres. (The ticket is valid for 2 days). The following attractions can be visited free of charge: Botanic Gardens GOMA- Modern Art Gallery Provands Lordship St Mungo Museum Glasgow Cathedral Kelvingrove Art Galleries McLellan Galleries Burrell Collection Scotland Street School Pollock House All accompanying persons are welcome to join the delegates for the conference lunch on this day or any conference day they chose to stay within Glasgow. 28th June 2006- EDINBURGH TOUR An excursion to Edinburgh with a short city tour and a visit to Edinburgh Castle and/or Holyrood House with free time to see other Edinburgh attractions. By special arrangement this tour can also include a visit to the Scottish Parliament building. Lunch venues will be recommended but the cost of lunch is not included. Departs- 9.30am Returns-17.30pm 29th June 2006- THE TROSSACHS TOUR Our tour departs Glasgow to Stirling for a visit to the Castle. After leaving Stirling we travel into the Highlands with a stop in Callander for lunch. After lunch we travel along the banks of the lochs and over the mountain roads of the Trossachs to Aberfoyle. Here there is an opportunity to buy come Scottish souvenirs and watch the famous ‘sheep show’ before carrying on to visit Glengoyne Distillery on the road back to Glasgow. (Entrance fee to Stirling Castle, sheep show and Glengoyne are not included). Cancellations: We require a minimum of 12 bookings before 10th June 2006, otherwise the accompany persons tour will be cancelled and money will be refunded.
